Q: Why is there an option to specify who I want to date?
A: The option to specify a date is for those with a specific person in mind, for a specific OC reason (eg you are worried about meeting people OC, or you and a friend want your characters to meet). For people who want to specify a match, this needs to be with someone you have arranged with in advance - then you would both book together and both request the match on your forms.

Q: How do I get there?

A: The easiest way is to drive, and there is space for 50 cars. Gildings Barns is on Partridge Lane, Newdigate, Dorking, Surrey, RH5 5BN. The closest station is Dorking, around 20 mins drive away. Gildings Barns | The Venue

 

Q: When is time in/out?

A: Time in is at 12.00hrs and time out at 20.00hrs. Safety briefing will be half an hour before time in (11.30) and last for about 10 mins, everyone will need to attend this. Food will be served around 1pm, and the banqueting/dates usually last for around 3 hours.

Q: Can I get changed at the venue?

A: You can - however, space in the toilets and OC area is limited, so please come in as much kit as you can!

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: We will be able to refund you if we can fill your place, or if you can find a replacement to attend instead. Otherwise we will be unable to do so.

Q: Is there a bar at the venue?

A: There is no bar, but there will be the option to add half a bottle of wine to your dinner ticket. Unlimited soft drinks and tea and coffee will be provided!
